The Havrilla Family
Daniel, Megan, Timothy, and Eliana
Daniel grew up in Williamsport, PA. The son of a church organist, he was heavily involved in church during his childhood and accepted Christ at three years old. In high school, while attending a revivalist church camp, Daniel felt the call to pursue pastoral ministry – which led him to pursue a Christian undergraduate education and later a Masters of Divinity education. Daniel graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY with his Master of Divinity in May 2025. Daniel’s mom Diane and brother Joey still live in Williamsport. His father Ed sadly passed away from brain cancer in 2022. Some of Daniel’s favorite hobbies include reading, listening to music, exercising, watching football (Go Steelers and Nittany Lions!), and spending time with family and friends. His greatest passion is seeking to live like Jesus, and helping others to do the same. His birthday is July 23.
Megan grew up in West Deptford, NJ, near Philadelphia. Megan’s family is spread throughout NJ and Delaware. She accepted Christ at a young age and grew up attending and serving her local church. Her degrees in Communication/Public Relations and Music have led her to seek to serve the church through digital and print communications, kids’ ministry, and music. Her greatest desire is to see the church grow in their zeal and passion for God, His Word, and His truth. She currently works in her dream job as the administrative/marketing manager for the Williamsport Chamber Choir & Orchestra and the Williamsport Youth Choir. Some of Megan’s favorite hobbies are baking, reading, singing, going on family walks, and spending time with friends and families, especially her new niece! Her birthday is February 7.
Daniel and Megan met at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, where they both attended from 2014-2018. They were married on May 25, 2019. Two years later, on May 10, 2021, they welcomed their son Timothy into the world. Unbeknownst to Daniel and Megan, Timothy was born with a heart defect that required a life-flight and emergency surgery within the first three days of his life. But thanks be to God, the surgery was successful, and Timothy has had no ill effects since. Two years after Timothy was born, Eliana was welcomed into the world on November 8, 2023. Both Timothy and Eliana are fun, full of energy, and a tremendous blessing to their parents.
Daniel started in ministry in the United Methodist Church in July 2019, and served there for five and a half years until a denominational split and changing church doctrines caused Daniel to feel led to leave the UMC and seek a new denomination. Daniel is very happy to have found a new home in the ECC, and he is especially excited to begin pastoring New Life and Good Shepherd churches in January. Daniel and Megan plan to be settled in their new house in Sunbury by the end of January.
