2022 Vacation Bible School

Rocky Railway

Our 2022 VBS is Rocky Railway. Every day our kids were challenged to stand for God in their schools, among their friends, in our culture.. no matter what. Noah experienced the same challenges during the time of the great flood thousands of years ago. Yet, by God’s grace, he was able to stand for God. 

Each night at VBS the kids joined fun characters as they go on an adventure on the Rocky Railway, taking part in exciting Bible stories, music, activities, games, snacks, and a mission project. 

Our goal is to create a safe environment where kids experience positive life changes.

Mission Project: Collect items to help fill the shoe boxes to send to children in other countries during the Christmas season. (Suggested items: pencils, small manual pencil sharpener, colored pencils, pencil cases, crayons, markers, pens, coloring books, notebooks, glue sticks, watercolor paint sets, play-dough, stickers, wash cloths, bar soap, toothbrushes, brushes, combs, ponytail holders, socks.)

Prizes: The VBS attendees earn points for prizes all week by: attending VBS each night, learning memory verses, good behavior, and bringing a visitor. 

Memory Verses:
Monday - For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Tuesday - So, be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!
Wednesday - He gives power to the weak and strength tot the powerless
Thursday - The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.
BONUS VERSE - Love each other in the same way I have loved you.

Thursday night we invited all parents, guardians, siblings, etc to stay and see what we have learned through the week. We had hot dogs and snacks at the conclusion.
